Ain’t No Savior Like The One I Got


In Jesus’ time, people were confused about what to believe and who to follow. Today, people are still confused physically, morally, and spiritually. In this sermon, Brother Holloway uses Matthew chapter 9 to explain that Jesus saw and still sees people’s confusion, he had and still has compassion on those people, and he gave a commission to his disciples and to us. With a savior like this, will we rise up to obey the charge? Or will we stand by and stand down?

Matthew 9:35-38 (ESV):  And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.
